In accordance with our November 20, 2023 order, the parties have filed a joint status report informing the Court that settlement negotiations remain ongoing and requesting that we extend the suspension of the record deadline another thirty days. We GRANT the request. The deadline for the filing of the appellate record remains SUSPENDED. The parties SHALL FILE a status report no later than February 15, 2024.
We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk; Crystal R. Brown, Official Court Reporter for the 44th Judicial District Court; and the parties.
