These microcaptive-insurance cases were on the Court's March 6, 2023 trial calendar for Dallas, Texas. They've all been continued before, but we continued them again after we spoke with the parties in January and all agreed they have not given up on settling the cases without the months of pretrial preparation it would take to get them ready for trial. The Court agreed that it made sense to put the cases on a status-report track to see if they could be settled. Petitioners reported some recent unavoidable delay due to a health problem, so it is
ORDERED that on or before August 15, 2023 the parties shall file a status report describing their progress toward settlement in these and later years.
