DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
Appeals by Amgad Botros from four orders of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated August 8, 2023, April 27, 2022, November 9, 2023, and November 28, 2023, respectively. Motion by the appellant to consolidate the appeals and to be furnished with free transcripts. Cross-motion by the respondent to dismiss the appeals on the ground that the appeals are frivolous and to impose a sanction upon the appellant for filing frivolous appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and cross-motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branches of the motion which are to consolidate the appeal from the order dated August 8, 2023, with the appeal from the order dated April 27, 2022, and to consolidate the appeal from the order dated November 9, 2023, with the appeal from the order dated November 28, 2023, are denied as unnecessary as those appeals may be consolidated as of right (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[f][3]); and it is further, ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to consolidate the appeals from the orders dated August 8, 2023, and April 27, 2022, with the appeals from the orders dated November 9, 2023, and November 28, 2023, is denied; and it is further, ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals from the orders dated August 8, 2023, and April 27, 2022, and the appeals from the orders dated November 9, 2023, and November 28, 2023, will be calendared together and will be argued or submitted on the same date; and it is further, ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to be furnished with free transcripts is denied; and it is further, ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appellant's time to perfect the appeals from the orders dated August 8, 2023, and April 27, 2022, by causing the original papers constituting the record on appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[a][5]), and by serving the appellant's brief, and uploading a digital copy of the appellant's brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, is extended until April 25, 2024; and it is further, ORDERED that the cross-motion is denied.
