The above cases are hereby consolidated for the purpose of briefing. From this date forward, all documents pertaining to the above consolidated cases should be filed electronically through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal using case number SC18-752 only.
The Court accepts jurisdiction in Keita Jermaine Gaymon v. State of Florida, Case No. SC19-712. The petitioner and respondent in Gaymon v. State may file a notice adopting the briefs filed by the petitioner and respondent in the consolidated case, Booker v. State. If the parties wish to file briefs, petitioner's brief on the merits shall be served on or before October 1, 2019; respondent's brief on the merits shall be served on or before October 11, 2019; and petitioner's reply brief on the merits shall be served on or before October 21, 2019.
The Clerk of the First District Court of Appeal shall file the record in Gaymon v. State, which shall be properly indexed and paginated on or before October 21, 2019. The Clerk may provide the record in the format as currently maintained at the district court, either paper or electronic. LABARGA, LAWSON, LAGOA, LUCK, and MUÑIZ, JJ., concur. The Court dispenses with oral argument in Gaymon v. State pursuant to Florida Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.320. A True Copy
