Petitioner did not have to negative exceptions or exemptions, but the burden of alleging that he came within any exception or exemption was on defendant, appellee. McMillan v. State ex rel. An exception in an architect licensing statute in favor of persons planning buildings to be erected or altered under specific conditions, set out in the statute, does not render the act unconstitutional as class legislation.
