I agree that in Florida it is permitted to convict and sentence for both the felony murder and the qualifying felony. See Boler v. State, 678 So.2d 319 (Fla. 1996). Therefore it was not ineffective assistance of appellate counsel not to challenge the consecutive life sentences imposed in this case.
