Board of Commissioners v. Thomas

Supreme Court of South Carolina
May 17, 1994
(S.C. May. 17, 1994)

Opinion

May 17, 1994.

This matter is before the Court by consent of the parties asking for an Order temporarily suspending the license to practice law of the Respondent, Thomas M. Hall, pursuant to § 7 of the Rule on Disciplinary Procedure, Rule 413, SCACR.

It appears that the consent to be temporarily suspended from the practice of law should be accepted. This acceptance and order is without prejudice to any final proceeding or order which may arise out of this matter.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Respondent's license to practice law is temporarily suspended until such time as the complaints before the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline can be processed to conclusion and until further Order of this Court.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this Order be filed and served, and, in accordance with § 7(B) of the Rule on Disciplinary Procedure, said Order shall be made public.

I SO MOVE:

CHARLES H. RICHARDSON, Assistant Attorney General Attorney for the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline

WE CONSENT:

THOMAS M. HALL, Respondent

TIMOTHY L. BROWN, Attorney for Respondent

Columbia, South Carolina
