BLUMENTHAL DISTRIBUTING, INC., Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

MARK V. HOLMES, JUDGE.

This case had been set for a two-week trial at a special session beginning on February 6, 2023, in Los Angeles. We continued it because of a serious discovery problem and instead set it for a status conference during out January 30, 2023 Los Angeles trial calendar. At that status conference, the parties reported that they've made progress on the discovery issue and may wish to try to settle with a mediator rather than go back on the pretrial track. They recently reported that this approach continues to seem fruitful, so it is

ORDERED that the parties file another status report on or before June 1, 2023 to describe their progress in completing e-discovery and any progress in having a mediator become involved to resolve the case without trial.
