On Appeal from the 204th Judicial District Court, Dallas County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. F00-53657-LQ. Dismissed.
Before Justices MORRIS, O'NEILL, and MAZZANT.
OPINION
In this case, Ronnie Lee Bluain, Jr. pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Pursuant to a plea agreement, the trial court deferred adjudicating appellant's guilt, placed him on ten years' community supervision, and assessed a $2500 fine. The State later moved to proceed with adjudication of guilt, alleging appellant violated the terms of his supervision. The trial court found the allegations true, adjudicated appellant guilty, and sentenced him to twenty years' imprisonment. In two points of error, appellant contends the trial court abused its discretion in finding he violated the terms of his supervision and the trial court erred in overruling appellant's objection to prejudicial hearsay evidence. Appellant's claims on appeal challenge the trial court's decision to adjudicate guilt. Such appeals are not permitted. See Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 42.12, § 5(b) (Vernon Supp. 2005); Hogans v. State, 176 S.W.3d 829, 834 (Tex.Crim.App. 2005). Therefore, we do not have jurisdiction over appellant's appeal. We dismiss the appeal for want of jurisdiction.
