SYED MOHAMMED BILAL, Appellant v. SADAF KHAN, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 5 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-21-02822-E

ORDER

CORY L. CARLYLE, JUSTICE.

Before the Court is the May 9, 2024 letter of Official Court Reporter Coral Wahlen requesting an extension of time to file the reporter's record and guidance regarding exhibits containing pornographic images and videos. The offending exhibits are Plaintiff's Exhibits 1 and 2. We GRANT the request and extend the deadline to May 30, 2024. Absent further order of this Court, the reporter's record shall not include Plaintiff's Exhibits 1 and 2. The Court shall consider the reporter's record complete without these two exhibits, and their omission from the reporter's record shall not constitute waiver of the sufficiency of the evidence or other legal assertion. Counsel for appellant has filed a letter stating that the exhibits are not germane to the issues on appeal. Appellee may object to the omission of the exhibits by filing an objection that describes why the inclusion of the exhibits in the reporter's record is necessary for presentation of the appeal. Any objection must be filed before appellee files her brief.
