This appeal challenges the trial court's denial of appellants' motion to compel arbitration. By motion and supplement filed August 12 and August 14, 2024, respectively, appellants inform the Court that appellee has recently filed an "AAA Arbitration Demand and Arbitration Complaint," and they request we determine whether, as a result, the appeal has become moot and we have lost jurisdiction over the appeal. Appellants also ask that the upcoming deadline for filing their reply brief be extended until we have determined our jurisdiction.
We GRANT the motion TO THE EXTENT THAT we SUSPEND the deadline for the filing of appellants' reply brief pending determination of our jurisdiction.
We ORDER appellee to file any response to appellant's jurisdictional concern no later than August 26, 2024.
