DAVID BEST, Petitioner, v. THE SEVENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF WHITE PINE, Respondent.

ORDER DENYING PETITION

This original petition for a writ of mandamus seeks an order directing the district court to resolve a motion to correct an illegal sentence or modify sentence that was filed in district court case number CR070604 on April 12, 2018. David R. Best asserts he most recently sent a request for review to the district court that was filed on September 7, 2018, but the district court still has not resolved his motion. We have reviewed the documents filed in this matter and we decline to exercise our original jurisdiction at this time. See NRS 34.160. We expect the district court will resolve all pending matters as expeditiously as its calendar permits.

ORDER the petition DENIED.
