ORDER

Emin Toro, Judge.

This case was calendared for trial during the Court's May 22, 2023, Chicago, Illinois, trial session. On February 10, 2023, the parties filed a Joint Motion to Remand (Doc. 8), asking the Court to remand this collection due process case to the IRS Independent Office of Appeals for further consideration. By Order served February 14, 2023, among other things, the parties' Joint Motion to Remand was granted, and the undersigned judge retained jurisdiction.

On July 24, 2023, respondent filed a Status Report (Doc. 13) informing the Court that "[t]his case was assigned to a settlement officer who held a supplemental conference with petitioner's counsel on May 18, 2023." The Status Report further provides that "[r]espondent's Office of Appeals is currently in the process of issuing a supplemental notice of determination." Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that the parties shall file with the Court, on or before September 25, 2023, a joint report (or, if that is not expedient, then separate reports) describing the status of the case
