In Re: Jessie Bell, Jr., applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 669890. BEFORE: GUIDRY, THERIOT, AND PENZATO, JJ.
WRIT DENIED. La. R.S. 15:1171, et seq., the Corrections Administrative Remedy Procedure ("CARP"), is the exclusive remedy by which an inmate may challenge the time computation of his sentence. Further, after exhausting the required administrative remedies pursuant to CARP, an inmate seeking review of the time, computation of his sentence must petition the 19th Judicial District Court for judicial review of an agency decision within the requisite time delays. See La. R.S. 15:571.15; La. R.S. 15:1177(A); McKinley v. Cooper, 2012-1719 (La. App. 1st Cir. 4/26/13), 2013 WL 1791229, *1 (unpublished). Given the circumstances that relator refused the district court's request that he submit this matter as a petition for judicial review, we find no error in the district court's dismissal of this matter.
