ORDER

LEWIS R. CARLUZZO CHIEF SPECIAL TRIAL JUDGE.

This case for the redetermination of a deficiency, presently set for trial during the Jacksonville, Florida, trial session scheduled to begin on December 4, 2023, is before the Court on respondent's motion for continuance, filed November 3, 2023. Giving due regard to the representations contained in that motion, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion is set for hearing at the place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served July 13, 2023, at a time and date certain of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that the parties (1) need not comply with the terms and obligations set forth in the Standing Pretrial Order, served July 13, 2023, and (2) are excused from appearing on December 4, 2023, as previously directed.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to (1) prepare for trial, or (2) resolve the case without the need for one.
