ORDER
Joseph Robert Goeke Judge
Pending before the Court is respondent's Motion to Compel Production of Documents, filed August 24, 2023. The parties have recently filed status reports updating the Court on the status of the pending motion.
The parties dispute the adequacy of several specific responses by petitioner to certain of respondent's requests for production of documents. Respondent raises the apparent inconsistency of one response to prior information and the need for petitioner to have its agents provide requested information. Regarding the potential for respondent to obtain some of the requested documents from alternative sources, this situation requires communication between the parties to act in good faith and arrange the most expeditious production of the documents. Likewise, the apparent inconsistency of responses to other productions requires good faith communication to explain and address the questions raised. Accordingly, we order below that the parties meet and confer within 20 days and report the status of their discussions. Should there be any difficult complying with this Order the parties are to contact the Court to arrange a conference call. Accordingly, it is
ORDERED that the parties meet and confer as directed above and file with the Court joint or separate written reports as to the status of those discussions on or before December 11, 2023.
