MEMORANDUM OPINION

Austin Lee Beard, Appellant, has filed a motion to dismiss his appeal. In the motion, Appellant requests that this court withdraw his notice of appeal and dismiss this appeal. Attached to the motion is a handwritten letter in which Appellant notified his appellate counsel that he no longer wishes to pursue the appeal in this cause. The motion is signed by Appellant's counsel, and the attached letter authorizing the dismissal is signed by Appellant. Consequently, we dismiss the appeal pursuant to TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2.

The motion is granted, and the appeal is dismissed.
