On Appeal from the 291st Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F22-76956
ORDER
AMANDA L. REICHEK JUSTICE
The reporter's record is overdue. The reporter's record was originally due July 16, 2024. On July 25, 2024, this Court notified court reporter Norma Rico that the reporter's record was overdue and directed her to file the reporter's record within 30 days. On July 29, 2024, Ms. Rico filed a request for extension of time to file the reporter's record, which this Court granted, ordering Ms. Rico to file the reporter's record by August 15, 2024. On August 26, 2024, Ms. Rico filed a second 30-day motion for extension, stating, "This will allow me ample time to complete and file the reporter's record on or before September 26, 2024." We granted the request for extension and ordered Ms. Rico to file the reporter's record by September 26, 2024. As of the date of this order, the reporter's record has not been filed.
We ORDER Ms. Rico to file the complete reporter's record in this appeal on or before OCTOBER 22, 2024. We caution Ms. Rico that should she fail to file the complete reporter's record within the time stated, the Court will utilize whatever remedies it has available, which may include ordering that she not sit as a court reporter until she files the complete reporter's record in this appeal.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Stephanie Huff, Presiding Judge, 291st Judicial District Court; Sasha Brooks, Official Court Reporter, 291st District Court; Norma Rico, Court Reporter; Christina O'Neil, Chief Judicial Staff Counsel for the Criminal District Courts, Dallas County; and counsel for all parties.
