Bathurst v. Bathurst

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District
Sep 2, 1981
402 So. 2d 1360 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1981)

Opinion

No. 80-1972.

September 2, 1981.

Appeal from Circuit Court, Palm Beach County; John E. Born, Judge.

Paula S. Gold of Baskin Sears, Boca Raton, for appellant.

Maxine V.E. Reynolds of Reynolds Reynolds, Boca Raton, for appellee.

We affirm the trial court's combined award of lump sum and periodic rehabilitative alimony only because appellant/wife, who has a marketable skill, retains the ability to seek a continuation of rehabilitative alimony, or to seek conversion to permanent alimony, if she is later able to demonstrate an inability to become self-supporting.

DOWNEY, HERSEY and HURLEY, JJ., concur.
