In Re: State of Louisiana, through the Department of Transportation and Development, applying for supervisory writs, 18th Judicial District Court, Parish of Pointe Coupee, No. 45458.

BEFORE: PARRO, PETTIGREW, McDONALD, WELCH, AND CRAIN, JJ.

WRIT GRANTED; REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED CONSIDERATION GRANTED. Concluding that the trial court erred in declining to set the motion for summary judgment filed by the State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development on or about August 21, 2014, WE REVERSE the order of the trial court that disallowed the motion. WE ORDER the trial court to set and rule on the motion for summary judgment prior to October 21, 2014.
