This case is set for trial during a Washington, D.C., session of the Court (to be conducted as a remote proceeding via the internet) beginning December 13, 2021. On August 10, 2021, the parties filed a joint motion for continuance, in which the parties informed the Court that this case has been referred to the IRS's Office of Appeals, and report that they are diligently and cooperatively working on the development of the case and that a continuance will promote the likelihood of settlement or the orderly preparation of the case for trial. For the reasons set forth in the parties' joint motion, it is

ORDERED that the joint motion for continuance is granted, and that this case is stricken from the calendar of the Court's upcoming Washington, D.C., trial session beginning December 13, 2021, and is continued generally.
