REGINA BARROW AND STEWART CATHEY v. THE LOUISIANA BOARD OF ETHICS


In Re: Regina Barrow and Stewart Cathey, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 755533.

BEFORE: GUIDRY, C. J., PENZATO AND WOLFE, JJ.

STAY DENIED; WRIT DENIED. An order or judgment relating to a preliminary injunction is appealable, which shall not be suspended during the pendency of an appeal, unless the court in its discretion so orders. See La. Code Civ. P. art. 3612. Moreover, a temporary restraining order may only be extended for good cause shown at any time prior to its expiration. See La. Code Civ. P. art. 3604.
