MICHELLE JANETTE BARRIENTES, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, State.
Appeal from the 226th Judicial District Court of Bexar County, Texas (TC#2021CR4408)
Before Alley, C.J., Palafox and Soto, JJ.
ORDER
PER CURIAM
On March 7, 2024, court reporter David Zarate attempted to file three additional documents in the above numbered cause. The Clerk of this Court was unable to open two of the files. The third file appears to be the transcript of a hearing on a motion for new trial. However, the file is not sequentially labeled as a supplemental reporter's record.
The Clerk of this Court made multiple attempts to contact Mr. Zarate, twice by phone and once by email. The phone number on file for Mr. Zarate is inaccurate, and as of the date of this Order, there has been no response to this Court's email.
The Court orders that Mr. Zarate correct the pending files on or before March 25, 2024. If Mr. Zarate is unable to correct the files, the Court directs him to contact the Clerk of this Court immediately. If the files are not corrected by March 25, 2024, the Court will take appropriate measures to protect Appellant's rights such as ordering Mr. Zarate to appear and show cause for the failure to respond this Court's communications and delay in correcting the files or abating this cause for a hearing to determine whether Mr. Zarate's notes and files should be surrendered to another reporter to correct and file.
IT IS SO ORDERED
