TONY R. BARRETT, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Ronald L. Buch, Judge.

This case is currently set for trial at the session of the Court scheduled to commence on September 30, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. On August 15, 2024, the Commissioner filed a Motion to Compel Production of Documents. We will order a response from Mr. Barrett. Before doing so, we will remind Mr. Barrett of several upcoming deadlines.

In the Court's Standing Pretrial Order served on May 1, 2024, the Court set forth various deadlines that are rapidly approaching. At least 14 days before the trial session, the parties are to file a stipulation of facts along with any proposed trial exhibits. Obviously, the parties cannot stipulate to documents if they have not been exchanged in advance with enough time to review them. By that same date (September 16), the parties must exchange any proposed trial exhibits that are not included in a stipulation. The Court may exclude from evidence any exhibits that were not timely exchanged. With that caution having been provided, it is

ORDERED that by September 3, 2024, Mr. Barrett shall file a response to the Commissioner's Motion to Compel Production of Documents.
