JUAN JOSE BARRERA, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 296th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 296-81197-2023

ORDER

NANCY KENNEDY, JUSTICE

Before the Court is the motion of counsel William "Coby" DuBose for appellant. The motion states that Mr. DuBose will substitute as counsel for appellant's appointed counsel. We DENY the motion without prejudice because Mr. DuBose has failed to comply with Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure Rule 6.5(b). The Rules ot Appellate Procedure require substitute counsel to deliver the motion to the party in person or through mail-both by certified and by first-class mail-to the party at the party's last known address. See Tex.R.App.P. 6.5(b).
