ORDER OVERRULING OBJECTIONS

Petitioner MIKE BARRERA, a state prisoner, filed with this Court a petition for a federal writ of habeas corpus challenging a prison disciplinary proceeding and the resultant loss of 730 days good time credit. On March 15, 2005, the United States Magistrate Judge issued a Report and Recommendation in this cause, recommending therein that the petition for a writ of habeas corpus be denied as petitioner is not eligible for mandatory supervised release. Petitioner was allowed fourteen (14) days from the entry of the Report and Recommendation in which to file objections. On April 1, 2005, having received no objections to the Report and Recommendation, the undersigned United States District Judge signed an Order adopting the Report and Recommendation and denying petitioner's habeas application, together with a corresponding Judgment. On that same date, April 1, 2005, the United States District Clerk received and filed petitioner's objections to the Report and Recommendation.

The Court has reviewed such objections and has reconsidered the Magistrate Judge's Report and Recommendation. The Court finds such objections are without merit and hereby DENIES petitioner's objections. The previous Order adopting the Magistrate Judge's Report and Recommendation and denying the petition for a writ of habeas corpus remains in effect, as does the judgment entered in accordance therewith.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
