ORDER

Lewis R. Carluzzo Chief Special Trial Judge

This I.R.C. section 6330(d) case, presently set for trial during the Houston, Texas, trial session scheduled to begin in that city on December 18, 2023, is now before the Court on a joint motion for continuance, filed October 27, 2023.

Giving due regard to the representations contained in the joint motion, it is

ORDERED that the joint motion is set for hearing at the place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served August 8, 2023, at a time and date certain of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that the parties are excused from appearing on Monday, December 18, 2023, as previously directed, and need not comply with the terms and conditions set forth in the Standing Pretrial Order, served August 8, 2023.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take in order to prepare the case for trial or to resolve it without the need for one.
