DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by respondent to dismiss an appeal from an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Queens County, entered December 20, 2018, as untimely and on the ground that no appeal lies from an order entered on the default of the appealing party.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and the appeal is dismissed (see CPLR 5511, 5513 [a]).
