Chase J. AUSTIN v. GEVORK DERTSAKIAN & others.

Here, the jury could have found from the evidence that the defendants drove to the plaintiff's residence and waited in the parking lot for him; once the plaintiff and Powell arrived, two of the defendants blocked Powell while Dertsakian began punching and kicking the plaintiff, called him a black bitch, ordered him to stay down and stop moving, and to stay away from his former girlfriend, now Dertsakian's girlfriend. Based on this evidence, the jury could conclude that Dertsakian violated the plaintiff's civil rights.
