ASHISH ARORA, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Cary Douglas Pugh, Judge

This case is set for trial at the Court's Miami, Florida, trial session scheduled to commence on December 16, 2024. Currently before us is respondent's Motion to Compel Responses to Respondent's Interrogatories, filed August 16, 2024. We ordered petitioner to respond to respondent's Motion by September 22, 2024. In accordance with our order, petitioner timely filed a Response to Motion to Compel Responses to Interrogatories.

Petitioner appears to be responding to the informal discovery requests in respondent's letter dated May 15, 2024, not the formal interrogatories served petitioner on June 21, 2024, but we note significant overlap between respondent's two discovery requests. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is hereby

ORDERED that respondent shall, on or before October 4, 2024, file a report advising the Court on the status of the discovery issues currently before the Court, including what issues remain outstanding, if any, in the light of petitioner's Response.
