The parties have filed a joint motion to abate this appeal (including abatement of appellees' pending motion to dismiss the appeal for lack of jurisdiction) to allow the parties to complete the terms of a settlement in principle. The parties aver that they will provide the Court with an update on the status of the settlement by no later than June 7, 2024.
The motion to abate is GRANTED. This appeal is abated, treated as a closed case, and removed from the Court's active docket. This appeal will be reinstated on the Court's active docket when a motion stating the grounds for reinstatement is filed with the Court by any party to the appeal and sustained by the Court.
It is so ORDERED.
