HECTOR ANGUIANO, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 6 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause Nos. F17-76221-X & F17-76221-X

ORDER

LANA MYERS JUSTICE

Appellant, who was declared indigent below, timely filed his notice of appeal on July 5, 2022. Because no motion for new trial was filed, the record was due on August 8, 2022.

Before the Court is court reporter Debi Harris's August 12, 2022 request for sixty additional days to file the reporter's record. In the request, Ms. Harris states she did not start working on the record because a payment had not been made. As we noted, appellant is indigent; therefore, no payment is required in order for his appeal to proceed.

We GRANT Ms. Harris's request to the extent we ORDER the reporter's record filed by September 9, 2022. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(c) ("Each extension must not exceed 30 days in an ordinary or restricted appeal.").
