ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's August 16, 2017 motion to dismiss. The motion, which states that appellant no longer wants to pursue the appeal, is signed by retained counsel but is not signed by appellant. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2(a).

We DENY the motion without prejudice so appellant may file a motion that complies with rule 42.2(a) of the rules of appellate procedure.
