Opinion filed May 15, 1940 Rehearing denied June 19, 1940
INTOXICATING LIQUORS, § 107 — action for injuries, compelling joinder of defendants. In action under Dramshop Act wherein it was alleged that the two defendants sold intoxicating liquor to one who shot and killed the wife and mother of plaintiffs, defendants could not contend that under sections 24 and 25 of the Civil Practice Act defendants could compel plaintiffs to join as defendants two other tavern operators and owners, who allegedly also sold liquor to the intoxicated person, because person injured by a tort can sue the wrongdoers jointly or severally (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1939, ch. 110, §§ 148, 149; Jones Ill. Stats. Ann. 104.024, 104.025).
