William Alton Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler, Judge

This case is calendared for trial on the Court's March 28, 2022, Tampa, Florida trial session. On January 24, 2022, respondent filed a Motion for Continuance asking the Court to restore this case to the general docket. The motion states that the parties are working together to resolve this case without the need for a trial, however, Respondent's Appeals Officer needs longer than March 2022 to work with petitioner on trying to settle this case. On February 1, 2022, respondent filed a First Supplement to the Motion for Continuance which represents that petitioner does not object to the granting of the motion.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion for continuance, as supplemented, is granted and this case is stricken from the March 28, 2022, Tampa, Florida trial session and is continued generally.
