ORDER
Kathleen Kerrigan, Chief Judge
On November 21, 2022, petitioner filed a Motion to Proceed Remotely, using the form described in the Court's Administrative Order 2021-01 available on the Court's website at https://ustaxcourt.gov/administrative_orders.html. However, on December 14, 2022, respondent filed a response to petitioner's motion. In view of the motion, it is
ORDERED that, on or before May 11, 2023, the parties (i.e., petitioner and respondent) shall confer regarding the status of the case and the parties' views as to the above-referenced pending motion. The Court encourages the parties to cooperate and communicate with their opponent, and prepare this case for trial or other resolution, so that the parties can resolve among themselves any issues that can be resolved without the Court's involvement. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before May 18, 2022, the parties shall file a joint status report (or separate report, if a joint report is not possible), in which the parties shall therein describe the current status of the case, including their views of the above-referenced pending motion, and whether the parties have conferred as directed.
The Court encourages all litigants to register for electronic access (eAccess) so that they may electronically file and view documents in their Tax Court cases. If you currently file in paper and/or receive paper service from the Court, you are encouraged to register for eAccess by emailing dawson.support@ustaxcourt.gov.
