AMMAR HAYL ALSHABIEBY v. MICH PROPERTY & CASUALTY GUARANTY ASSOC

LC No. 19-001992-NF

ORDER

Michael F. Gadola, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.203(F)(1), orders:

The claim of appeal is DISMISSED for lack of jurisdiction. MCR 7.203(A)(1). The March 13, 2024 order is not a final order as defined in MCR 7.202(6)(a)(i) because it does not dispose of count I of plaintiff s complaint. To the extent an order has been entered resolving this remaining claim, the jurisdictional defect of the premature claim of appeal cannot be cured by a final judgment entered after the claim of appeal was filed. Dismissal is without prejudice to the filing of a late appeal under MCR 7.205(A)(4), provided such a filing meets all requirements under the court rules and is not time-barred.
