ORDER

Courtney D. Jones Judge

This case is scheduled for trial at the session of the Court scheduled to commence on March 6, 2023, for Richmond, Virginia (in Charlottesville). The Court received petitioners' Letter dated December 12, 2022 (Doc. 9). The letter requested that the Court "close the case as [petitioners'] documents have been accepted by the IRS."

The IRS notice dated June 21, 2022, and attached to petitioners' letter states:
If you have filed a petition with the United States Tax Court You'll need to prepare and file the appropriate documents with the court to close your case. We suggest you inform your attorney or tax representative that you reached an agreement with the IRS and received a "No Change Letter". If you don't have an attorney or representative and are representing yourself in the Tax Court, please contact the IRS attorney or IRS appeals officer assigned to your case so they can take the necessary steps to close your case.

(Emphasis added).

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that, on or before February 21, 2023, respondent shall file with the Court and serve a copy on petitioners, a status report to inform the Court of the then-present status of this case in light of petitioners' Letter dated December 12, 2022.
