PEDRO CRUZ ALMEIDA, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee
On Appeal from the Criminal District Court No. 3 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. F19-33533-J
ORDER
AMANDA L. REICHEK, JUSTICE
The clerk's record filed October 15, 2024 is incomplete because it does not include the trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal. Rule of Appellate Procedure 25.2(a)(2) requires the trial court to complete a trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal "each time it enters a judgment of guilt or other appealable order." Tex.R.App.P. 25.2(a)(2).
We ORDER the Honorable Audra Riley, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 3, Dallas County, to transmit to the district clerk within TEN DAYS of the date of this order a signed trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal that accurately reflects the trial court proceedings and the defendant's right of appeal. We ORDER Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk, to file a supplemental clerk's record containing the trial court's certification of defendant's right of appeal within TWENTY DAYS of the date of this order.
We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Audra Riley, Presiding Judge, Criminal District Court No. 3, Dallas County; Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk; and counsel for all parties.
