Alliance General Ins. v. Tequendama

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District
Jul 19, 1995
657 So. 2d 965 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1995)

Opinion

Nos. 94-1859, 94-1558.

July 19, 1995.

Appeals from the Circuit Court for Dade County; Gisela Cardonne, Judge.

Clarke Silverglate Williams Montgomery, Mercer K. Clarke and William C. Abruzzo; Williams, Montgomery Thompson and Jon S. Hainline, Miami, for appellant.

Arnold R. Ginsberg, Miami and Carlos Lidsky, Hialeah and Todd R. Schwartz, Miami, for appellees.

Before SCHWARTZ, BASKIN and LEVY, JJ.

The record reflects that a reasonable attorney fee award in this case would be one that compensates appellees' attorney for twenty (20) hours of work at the rate of $250 per hour, without the application of a multiplier, thereby yielding a total attorney fee award of $5,000.

Affirmed as modified.
