This case was on the Court's September 12, 2022 San Francisco, California trial calendar. Petitioners are members of a recognized Indian tribe in California, and the case involves unusual questions of whether the IRS is misattributing tribal income to petitioners as individuals. Respondent recently reported that the parties continue to cooperate in informal discovery and discuss settlement. The case can stay on a status-report track and it is

ORDERED that on or before April 21, 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or file a status report describing their progress in settling the case or narrowing the issues to be tried.
