ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Inc., Board of Trustees of Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Inc., Hawthorne Cedar Knolls Union Free School District, and Board of Education of Hawthorne Cedar Knolls Union Free School District from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Part CVA-R), dated May 19, 2021. By scheduling order dated July 2, 2021, the appellants were directed to perfect the appeal in the above-entitled action within 90 days of the date of this scheduling order. The appellants have failed to perfect the appeal.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal for failure to comply with the scheduling order dated July 2, 2021, by uploading a digital copy of an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue, via NYSCEF, on or before November 16, 2021; and it is further, ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties by uploading a copy of this order to show cause to the NYSCEF system.
