JAIME C. ALARCON & LAURA ALARCON, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Christian N. Weiler, Judge.

This case is calendared for trial on the Court's March 27, 2023, Los Angeles, California trial session. On March 3, 2023, respondent filed a status report informing the Court that petitioners are sending substantiation documents to respondent's counsel, which should narrow the issues reflected on the Notice of Deficiency. The parties request additional time in order for respondent's counsel to review substantiation documents and negotiate a basis of settlement with petitioners. The report further states that respondent contacted petitioners relative to the filing of this status report and that they agree with the filing of the report.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that this case is stricken for trial from the Court's March 27, 2023, Los Angeles, California trial session and is continued. It is further

ORDERED that on or before May 5, 2023, the parties shall file a proposed stipulated decision or file a report regarding the then-present status of this case. It is further

ORDERED that the undersigned retains jurisdiction over this case.
