NADEEM AHMAD & QURATULAN AHMAD, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge.

This case was on the Court's September 12, 2022 San Francisco, California trial calendar. There's quite a large deficiency in dispute, but it's really just the sum of a massive number of smaller substantiation disputes. The parties wanted to try to settle, and the case has moved from IRS Appeals to Exam. Respondent reports that the parties continue to cooperate in working toward settlement. The case can stay on a status-report track, and it is

ORDERED that on or before April 21, 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or respondent shall file a status report describing their progress in settling the case or narrowing the issues to be tried.
