Giving due regard to the representations contained in the joint motion for continuance, filed April 5, 2024, it is

ORDERED that the motion is set for hearing at the place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served January 30, 2024, for a time and date certain of Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. It is further

ORDERED that the parties are excused from appearing on Monday, May 6, 2024, as previously directed and need not comply with the obligations imposed upon them in the Standing Pretrial Order, served January 30, 2024.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to prepare the case for trial or to resolve it without the need for one.
