Supreme Court of Michigan
Jul 1, 2004
682 N.W.2d 97 (Mich. 2004)

Opinion

No. 123809.

July 1, 2004.

SC: 123809, COA: 242047, Macomb CC: 02-001150-CZ.

On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the April 15, 2003 judgment of the Court of Appeals is considered. We DIRECT the parties to file supplemental briefs, within 28 days of the date of this order, addressing the following issues: (1) whether plaintiffs have standing to bring this case; (2) whether the order of the Corporate Officers, the Deacon Board, and the Elder Board of the Utica Evangelistic Center removing plaintiffs from the rolls of voting members of the Center renders this case moot; and (3) whether relief can be given in this case without the Utica Evangelistic Center being named as a party defendant.

The application for leave to appeal remains pending.
