Opinion filed December 30, 1942 Rehearing denied January 20, 1943

ATTORNEYS AND COUNSELORS, § 156attorney's lien. Mother of deceased minor, as sole beneficiary and heir-at-law of such minor, had legal right to enter into valid and binding contract with attorney for prosecution and settlement of claim for damages against defendant for causing wrongful death of minor, and such contract constituted legal basis for an attorney's lien.

Appeal from the Municipal Court of Chicago; the Hon. MASON S. SULLIVAN, Judge, presiding.

Judgment reversed and cause remanded with directions. Heard in the second division, first district, this court at the April term, 1942.
