The district court held evidentiary hearings in an earlier postconviction proceeding on the claim that A.I. gave false testimony. Abdillahi v. State (Abdillahi III), No. A14-1795, 2015 WL 4877721, at *2 (Minn. App. Aug. 17, 2015), review denied (Minn. Sept. 29, 2015), cert. denied, 136 S. Ct. 1204 (2016).
