ORDER

Pursuant to MCR 7.206(D)(4), the ex parte motion for a temporary restraining order is GRANTED. The Director of Administration for the County of Genesee is directed to rescind the September 14, 2023 letter terminating the lease and continue the lease agreement between the City of Davison and Genesee County until further order of this Court. The ex parte motion for an order of show cause is GRANTED. Defendants hereby are ordered to show cause why a writ of mandamus should not issue.

The motion for immediate consideration and the motion to expedite the verified complaint for writ of mandamus are GRANTED. To effectuate an expedited decision in this case, the following schedule hereby is imposed:

All answers to the complaint, including any supporting briefs, and all motions are to be filed in this Court on or before Monday, November 20, 2023. All responses to motions, and briefs in support of the responses, and any reply brief to an answer to the complaint are to be filed on or before Tuesday, November 28, 2023. No extensions of time will be allowed for filing motions or briefs except by order of the Court. Pursuant to MCR 7.206(D)(4), there is no oral argument on preliminary hearing of a complaint, so this matter will be submitted for decision on the briefs as filed without oral argument.
