Jan 19, 1988
518 So. 2d 969 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1988)

Opinion

No. 87-1536.

January 19, 1988.

An Appeal from a non-final order of the Circuit Court for Dade County, George Orr, Judge.

Segall Gold and Norman S. Segall, Coral Gables, for appellant.

Fine Jacobson Schwartz Nash Block England, P.A., and J. Philip Landsman, Miami, for appellee.

Before HENDRY, NESBITT and JORGENSON, JJ.

On a record which contains no evidence supporting a transfer of venue pursuant to forum non conveniens or any other basis, the trial court erred in transferring venue from Dade to Broward County. We accordingly reverse. See Singer v. Krevoy, 457 So.2d 590 (Fla. 3d DCA 1984); Orange Blossom Enters., Inc. v. Brumlik, 430 So.2d 13 (Fla. 5th DCA 1983); Itel-Pas, Inc. v. Jones, 389 So.2d 1085 (Fla. 3d DCA 1980).

Reversed.
